alicia was here for the holidays! days blended together as we stayed inside the house, momentarily forgetting life outside. there wasn't a dull moment as her little kitten climbed over everything and made us laugh constantly. One morning I went to write by the window and with me he went, walking back & forth across my notebook alongside my pen. Now that they are gone the house is too quiet and I miss them.
For christmas we went to my uncle's house for a big dinner. I ate too much stuffing, macaroons upon macaroons & pieces of pie. The night was over too quickly though and already I miss my family!
